Magatama Picasso Garnet

Magatama 4x7 beads are small, curved glass beads with an off-center hole at the top. That angled hole is what gives them their signature drape. They sit at a slight tilt, which adds movement and texture to beadwork.

At 4x7mm, they’re a versatile mid-size bead: big enough to stand out, but still easy to work into detailed designs. They’re commonly used for fringe, edging, floral work, and dragon scales, anything where you want a layered or overlapping look. Because of the shape, they naturally stack and nest together, creating a more dimensional finish than round seed beads.

Each batch can vary slightly in tone, especially with specialty finishes, so it’s smart to grab enough for your full project.
